hi....
 i dont think we can call it reusage of old tunes.....they r rhythm loops ....but i woul have wished any how  that these old loops from daud and kadhalar dinam were not used ...especially  the daud one which sounds very stale methinks.

I found AR Rahman reused his old composition in few track.

Hole Re starts with the Ottam tunes (first 30 seconds) Then continue
with Thandiya tune together with Nenachapadi tune from Kadhalar Dhinam

Takey- Takey song start with Pukar, (natchu) tunes,

Al Maddath Maula- the starting point a bit same with Zikr (Allah Song)
