Don't worry I'm not going to shout at you =P
Just to Confirm the 'Swades fact'... If you had bought the CD of the
Tamil version of Swades - 'Desam', (in which Dekho Na was not
discarded, but rather dubbed as 'Kettena'), there is a little note in
the CD inlay (where the lyrics were in the Hindi CD) that says,
"Thank you, Mr. Rajnikant and Mr. A. R. Rahman, for making 'Ketena'
('Dekho Na' in Hindi) possible, set to the wonderful title tune
of 'Baba,' a personal favourite.
Warmly,
Ashutosh"
Well, we all know that Baba Kichukichu was not exactly the Title tune
of Baba, but, well, this should be enough to prove the 'Swades fact',
that friend Kaissom has kindly reminded us of in his post.
You can all go check it out in your Desam CDs!
Sasi
PS. I believe this note can only be seen in the T-Series release of
the Desam CD. Those of you in Malaysia/Singapore who waited and
bought the (is it Veenai Audio?) version instead of course won't be
able to find this note...
