The much awaited audio of Ah Aah set to tune by A R Rehman starring S J Suryah was released at a gala function in Chennai Wednesday.
It was the occasion for the stalwarts of the Kollywood including veteran lyricist Vaali, actor-director Vijaya T Rajendhar and heroes Vijay and Silambarasan to heap praises on Suryah.
Known for churning out movies that attract youngsters to theatres, Suryah, initially titled the movie BF and had to change the title later as Ah Aah following protests from some self-styled Tamil organizations.
Speaking on the occasion, Vaali, said he wrote lyrics for all six songs for a movie starring Sivaji Ganesan with the same title 35 years ago. No doubt Suryah will emerge the winner in the company of A R Rehman, as the duo did in their last venture New, he added.
All those including actor Vivekh, Vijay, Silambarasan and Vijaya T Rajendhar said Surya has a sure winner in hand after witnessing a couple of songs screened on the occasion.
The audiocassettes and CDs were released by A R Rehman on the occasion.
Ah Aah directed by Suryah stars him in the lead role and acting opposite him is debutant Nila.
