Harris worked with Rahman for 4-5 films and then he parted with him to compose music on his own. Hence in the begining, it sounded more of rahman's tunes and beats. I think both are similar in approach of sounds but Harris music is a little loud than Rahman's.
But all in all, they both share good rapport apart from the rivalry that they might have professionally which is natural and inevitable.
