Book a date with Rahman Deccan Herald Tickets for the concert can be booked through mobile phones thanks to Spice Telecom's mobile ticketing service. As Bangalore gets set for the A R Rahman concert on October 8, Spice Telecom has come up with a mobile ticketing service for the concert. The service, launched in association with Converge Labs and India Classic Arts, enables any GSM mobile user in India or abroad (Spice and non-Spice GSM mobiles) to book tickets by calling 98441 00777. Spice Karnataka customers can dial 777 for booking tickets.
Customers can select the number of seats and denomination, book them and receive a confirmation in a span of few minutes, according to the service providers. Tickets will be delivered as bar codes to the customer's handset, which must be displayed at the venue on the day of the concert. The bar codes will be scanned at the separate entry marked for M-ticket customers. Categories Tickets are available in the following categories: VVIPs (Rs 9,999 with seating and 3-D glasses), VIPs (Rs 5,999 with seating and 3-D glasses), Rs 2,499 (with seating and 3-D glasses), Rs. 1499 (with seating and without 3-D), Rs 999 (standing with 3-D vision) and Rs 499 (without 3-D vision). Payment can be done through credit cards or M-Pins. For the M-Pin option, the subscriber has to register at http://www.convergelabs.com/concert/registration .
