before i addicted to mr rahman, i use to love jatin-lalit kind of music.i alwiz love his song in DDLJ n KKHH.then i found that ismail darbar great too.what he did in HDDCS.. brilliant! ilove to watch nimbooda.that was the 1st song that i enjoy so much...very beautiful...(including aish ![]()
)then come mr rahman... i found that he has great music too but but with bad picturisation... i guess... but his song is the best for ur ears... ismail darbar wasn't bad there are few song that you can't denied he is good. HDDCS( nimbooda, dhol bhaje, albela, aakhon ki,), DEVDAS (dola re dola, maar dala ,shisha se, woh chand jaisi ladki-not in the film in malaysia)and deewange (err.. may be we need mani ratnam or rajiv menon or karan johar or SLB to make the song get recognition).
ID has his own type of music (if it is same as ARR music people will call him copycat).when its come to music, its subjective.his music isnt bad there are some killers too.. but if he condemn other music director (in this case mr rehman) he has bad attitude not bad music...
this is just my opinion.. ARR will alwiz top in my list.then ID then J-L...(errr i think i have to add HJ-minnale,anniyan)

Ismail darbar is so arrogant it seems, in the second part of the same
interview, he was blaming Sanjay Leela Bansali!! without whom this
Ismail darbar would have never made it to bollywood music
whatever, he is now literally out of the scene.
