My thoughts abt ARR's London 3rd Dimension Tour
This message is to all those who couldn't make it on that day and to those who
did. I am pretty
sure those who made it had a great time even though there was nothing 3D about
the concert.
The organisers promoted the show saying its a 3D tour where audience will be
given a 3D glass. But
nothing as such was available nor did they apologise for it. I influenced some
of my mates by
asking them to come down as it will be a 3D event and first of its kind. The
info about the 3D
glasses were there in the website and also in the programme schedules handed in
to the audience on
the day of the event. Even though I was really looking forward to the 3D
glasses. I was not let
down by ARR's music even though there were problems with the sounds since the
beginning.
The concert jump started with "Fanaa from Yuva" and couple of other hindi songs
till Shankar
Mahadevan rendered one in tamil I didn't realise there were more tamil audience
then hindi and I
am pretty sure even ARR wouldn't have expected it. Even though so many popular
songs were sung on
that day. The standing ovation was to "Anda Arabic Kadaloram from Bombay" which
even surprised me
as I didn't expect that song to be heard on that day. Most of us were standing
on top of our
chairs shouting "Hamma Hamma". As I expected songs from the Chinease movie
"Warriors of Heaven and
Earth" and songs from "The Rising - Ballad of Mangal Pandey" were song even
though the movie was
not released at that time.
I wanted to buy the £150 VIP tickets which included entrance to after concert
party with ARR. But
my mates made me not to buy which I am still regretting. :-(
