I would recommend you buy the DVD called "Salaam Bombay - Making of Bombay
Dreams" from the
production company's website
http://www.reallyuseful.com/rug/films/salaam/index.htm .. which has
clips of ARR making music inside his Chennai Studio and in London... before
viewing those clips I
have always known him to be shy and silent.. but these clips will show him
enjoying his own music
with a laugh... I still have to buy them.. but they aired this couple of times
in BBC in London.
