no offence though,but if we keep on sayin this ARR soon will be forgetten by the mass...ofcource critic wise ARR has proven many things that other mds cant do,and he can do it,but mass wise,ARR songs r not beein apriciated like those days,let me be frank,im a teeanger that needs ARR's youthful beat songs like BOys every time to enjoy the music to the max....we have allot of amazing & quality songs from arr in the past 5 years :
1.Lagaan 2.Kannathil Mutamittal 3.Meenaxi 4.Tehzeeb 5.Mangal Pandey 6.Bose 7.Swades 8.Kangalal Kaithi Sei 9.Warriors of Heavan & Earth sorry if i have missed any great albums in the list...im counting the albums that were release from 2001 untill today...these albums were composed to suit the movie's mood & cared less on the mass section.Tehzeeb had great scores sung by Madhushree,Kannathil had soulful tunes that suited the movie right,etc etc.. as u said,ARR's music is the best & i think its the best if the scores get appriciated by mass aswell.Its not fair great songs from ARR went to waste..from Anbe Aaruyire,only Mayilirage & Araraikodi pergalil oruvan was a hit.the rest?forgotten,cant belive a brilliant score like Thazhuvadu went unoticed.. i dont want ARR to be pushed out of today's youth list!he can give better scores than today's tamil music which are so hurtful to the ears.Anniyan & Chandramukhi had nightmare scores which was popularised by the movie's BO fate,the movie made the songs a super hit.before the movies were released,the audio of both the films were utter flop.Its time ARR comes back in tamil & creates more history than before...2006,the year of ARRahman.May God blesses him alwiz ! ------------------------ Yahoo!
