Just revisited these two mindblowing soundtracks from Rahman, and although I enjoy them immensely and can share this enjoyment with likeminded Rahman fans, it's just sad that the powerful music from these two soundtracks never reached commercial success or even critical acclaim, let alone the movie release for Bose!!!!!!!!!
>From these two albums......the masterpieces......Yeh Rishta, Desh Ki Mitti, Ghoomparani, Chinnama Chilakamma, Do Qadam, Noor Un Allah, Zikr, Ekla Chalo, Rang He......wow wow wow! The music of Mangal Pandey and Swades received more recognition, and Swades, rightly so, garnered the most success commercially, and is still one of my fav recent albums from Rahman. But, the music of Meenaxi and Bose.....very special, very crafty, very creative, a stroke of genius......and yet.....unrecognized...... ------------------------ Yahoo!
