Hi Shekar Great ideas. I want to point out one more thing. In order to have a useful member break-down by geographic location maybe we should create a system where members can be grouped by cities or states. That will not only help in nominating and electing one or two members in the region to distribute the Tshirts, but it'll also bring us closer to fellow ARR fans in our regions.
I have two ideas: 1. Either we have a secure online registration system, a form or 'ARRFans Whitepages', where people can browse by region. 2. Or we can simply find a (private) online forum where we can create multiple threads of dicussion - each thread representing a region, and members from the region can place messages, organize meetings, elect members to act as distributors of the region, etc. A hybrid of the two maybe a better option. I think with this form of decentralized control we can make the Tshirt project and hopefully many more projects in the future a great success. If there is enough response to this message I can happily take on the responsibility of arranging such a system.
