I do also feel that Daler is the best person to sing the track. The youthfullness of the song is mostly a result of the tune and treatment ..which are in the very able hands of Rahman himself. For that matter -- don't you think Aah aah (title track) or Fannah were youthful? If so, is Rahman a youthful voice? No--its not the youthfullness of the voice, but it was the youthfullness of the track.
And secondly, not to get started on a different track, Adnan as the singer -- PLEASE!! I am even surprised Rahman has used him couple of times. That guy hardly qualifies for a singer -- with mostly incomprehensible vocals.
