I totally agree with what u say.. but ppl may not agree to this and the reason that is usually given is that RDB is a legend, etc... Let it be.. but if someone is better than the "legend" ppl don't accept it....Go to itwofs.com.. u will find that in RDB's page, u will find 38 copied songs... and most of them tune lifts... Compare this with ARR - no tune lifts till date...
Rahman is way ahead of RDB in terms of versatility, experimentation, originality and many other factors...

Rahman truly rocks!
