My all time favorite is "Enge Enathu Kavithai" from Kondu Kandu Kondaen, Kandu Kondaen rendered by none other than Chitra.
Not only the music, the best lyrics written for it. If you understand Tamil, Vairamuthu's lyrics will give you goosbumps. On the music front ARR changes midstream from western drums to Mirudangam.
