Godfather has been in the making for a long time. The film, directed
by KSR, has had several glitches on the production side and the
distributors who had bought the rights were in a quandary.

Now, all the issues have been sorted out and the film is ready for
release. The producers decided to release it on Pongal. But, on the
same day, Paramasivan has also been slated for release. Therefore,
distributors of Godfather approached P. Vasu the director of
Paramasivan and requested him to postpone the release. No comments
from P. Vasu. Watch this space for developments.
