I feel like Rahman has discovered a new, youthful sound in RDB, atleast i n a few of the songs.
The only disappointment is that he hasn't expanded on Khoon Chala. The song is one of the most original melodies I've heard in a long time, and the guy Mohit has a fantastic, original voice. I'm not as enamoured with Luka Chuppi even though it sounds super sweet and makes for repeated listening. The chords remind me too much of "Zubeidaa" and the tune and the strumming itself is not much different from "Yeh Rishta" from Meenaxi.
