as stylegamer told, ARR himself has stopped scoring music for Prabhudeva films, as he felt he is getting into something cliched and repetitive... After kadhalan super hit , it bcame like if prabhudeva is in a film, ARR will be the MD. the result being, Prabhudeva will be used only for dance, and ARR will be forced to score only fast beat music and this was kindaa getting repetitive.
VIP was the first major film i think, when a PD film was done by a different music director.
