Let's not start mud slinging and putting down people in haste. Websites are known to "manufacture" news and quotes. For all you know, Yesudas might not have been interviewed at all.

I would like to mention something about sufi songs. They are no one's property and these songs have been sung for centuries so anyone is free to use these songs. Further what ARR is doing is to make use of these songs and make them more popular so that it reaches all audience. So no one can take credit to these songs because no one can trace authentic owner since it has been passed generation to generation by sufi saints to their followers.

Thanks with regards,

once, Yesudas used to be the idol of every music lover in Kerala.

now he buried himself in the greed and insecurity which affected him
after realising that his sweet voice is no longer lasting forever.

then he makes controversies by demanding royalty from the other
singers for singing his songs!  how childish!!!  how could a great
singer like Yesudas behave like this ???

he, once expressed his gratitude to a.r. rahman and even praised him a
lot "right after singing the beautiful song in Indian".

he should be more thankful to a.r. rahman, for giving him a chance to
sing Oh Bhawre.. in Hindi, after a loooong period, as we all know his
hindi pronunciation really sucks!!

if you follow his interviews and quotes in the recent years, you can
really see that yesudas is insecure, he is afraid of failure.  and
that is what exactly seen in this interview also.
