I agree that YSR is attempting to be different and has certainly done so, successfully, in Arinthum Ariyamalum and Selvaraghavan's films.
But there seems to be so much media hype about YSR's Pudhupettai (in my opinion it is just mediocre). Indiaglitz and Sify seems to rave about the songs in every possible article. I am beginning to wonder if something is wrong with my hearing and taste for good music..
