hi all about some GF here :-

 

There are going to be 6 songs in the film, as per media reports.

 

- "Kaatril Oru Vaarthai Midhandhu Vara Kandaen" - S.P.B. and Sadhana Sargam -  Already picturised on the lead pair

- One song by Sonu Kakkar of "Babuji Zara Dheere Chalo" fame. ‘‘The lyrics were tongue twisters but it was an experience working with Rahman.’’ Kakkar, who was introduced to Rahman by percussionist Sivamani, spent two days in Chennai recording the song. [Indian Express]

- Ajith sings one song; his first attempt at playback singing.

- A.R.Rahman sings one sentimental song, based on Mother-Son relationship - for the villain Ajit. This is a sentiment song and it is dedicated to Kanika who plays as the handicapped affected mother of Ajit

- Ajith plays 3 roles - Father and his two sons, one of which being a eunuch, who will be the villain  in the movie.

- Ajith has two heroines, Asin and probably a Mumbai girl. The rest of the songs will be picturised in the backwaters of Kerala and other picturesque locales in India.

- Nadia Moidu is going to be the heroine of father Ajith.

 

CURRENT STATUS - Movie shooting completed. Expected to hit theatres on Feb 17th, 2006.

 

as i said before it seems from the trailor, GF has a song sounds like the Dandiya Music. And another classical song which sounds in raag - maalkauns and in south its called hindholam. thanks PANKAJ ;-)?
