I only watched last few mins... they showed Amir in studio dubbing for Lalkaar track...he was in half-pants ;-)
Abt the roobaroo...when Prasoon recited 4 lines from the track :
Abhi abhi hua yakeen
Ki aag hai mujh me kahin
Hui subah main jal gayaa
Suraj ko main nigal gayaa
A R R immediately said "This is the film...these 4 lines...The Generation Awakens." & then he smiled... he was looking so cool & casual... smiling all the time...

Interesting bit of info is that none of the songs are
lip-synced in the movie!! Also, according to Rahman,
the most important song is Rubaroo. I think it is his
favourite track as well.
They showed bits of the scenes where Lalkaar is played
and they looked pretty intense. This was the first
time I saw the other side of RDB, the serious side.
This song has the cast with a lot of others walking
with a candle in their hand... without spoiling
anything, I can just say that this must be immediately
after the IAF incident....
All, in all it was great to watch ARR, as usual. And
for people like me, who were disappointed with the
music of RDB, no, Rahman didn't apoligise for the
music of RDB!!
