Hey all...
 
i tried working out this particular song some time back (when it was released). and yes it is in C#. (can be played in any scale though...of course)
 
will try to post whatever i can when i get back to my keyboard...which i have not quite played with been a while sadly...:-(
 
and the song is/seems to be based on a raag called
Hamsadhwani or Hansadhwani ( i think) which is in on Bilawal thaat (all sudh swars - please technnical gurus, correct me if i'm wrong)
 
Sa Re Ga Pa Ni Sa'.  - Aaroha (Accent)
Sa' Ni Pa Ga Re Sa - Avroha (Decent)
The vaadi is Sa ( if i can recall) and  ARR has used Sa quite a bit in that.

Yeh Joh Des Hai Tera (partial notes)
G#    C     C# C# C# C# ... (check the number of times you play C#..maybe more or something!,...writing from memory!)
Pa    Ni    Sa Sa Sa Sa ( see the Aaroha Sa Re Ga Pa Ni Sa)
 
where G# = Pa
C = Ni
C# = Sa (note the emphasis on Sa = Vaadi)
 
and in other places Sa is emphasised quite many times...
 
look this is just from memory...so may be (more than) a bit sketchy...but will try to get other notes as well...later though...but please that would be how I heard and interpeted and worked it out...can't say will be/ is infallible...! so all errors mine!
 
needless to say this is just another gem from ARR...
