As you all know, Hong Kong is very small country with just 8million
populations and Indians approx. 30-40 Thousands (Citizens ), out of
this small amount of population its realy hard to bring around 5000
to 7000 peoples to the show which is almost 18%-20% Indian
populations in Hong Kong.
The Ticket Prizes are : HK$$3,880(VIP), $1,980, $980, $580 & $380 (
US$1 = HK$7.78)

The show is scheduled to start at 7.30 but it took another 20mins as
the audience was still entering the hall.
At 8pm everything set to start and the show is started with the
Local Host.
The show started with " Fanaah " (Hindi Version), the sound and its
effects were simply awesome.
After Fannah, Rahman gave a small speech about this trip to Hong
Kong and where he mentioned ' It was My Dream Destination to Perform
In Hong Kong ".
As being a Rahman fan since his first movie Roja i never miss any of
his concert if i can get the DVD or VCD and also his other shows but
believe me , i have never seen Rahman as this happy and joyfull.
The Organizers in Hong Kong got the wrong idea of Majority of
audience is Hindi Speaking Peoples but at one point Rahman have
noticed it and asked the audience to light up ( Battery Tube ) to
know how many Tamil Speaking peoples are present, thats the time for
every one of us to realize there were so many of them and Tamil
speaking were the Majority audeince.
And quickly the Singers realized the Tamil Version would be more
apprciated, the first full tamil song was " Enna Solla Poogiraai by
Sankar Mahadevan "
In between Rahman cracked some decent jokes and he was answering the
crowds too , some guys from the back were shouting " We want tamil
songs " and Rahman was answering " Iruku Iruku Ellam Iruku " and he
was also remembering his previous visits to Hong Kong and said his
Son and himself born on the same Date " 6th January "
Also mentioned he is coming to hong kong from Toronto which is -20'C
and Hong Kong is around 18-20'C.
The instrument players were very little when it compared with his
other concert.
ALMA was singing a song from WOHE ( English ), Bombay Dreams and a
song which Rahman Composed for BANYAN ( Performed first time ).
Rahman himself announced that " For the people who are still
searching for Rahman.. its me .. due to Haji Visit i had to shave so
many of you may not recogzise me" whole people started to laugh and
through out the show Rahman was seen very energetic and happy.
Sankar Mahadevan and Rahman rendered Humma Humma from Bombay, at
first Sankar asked rahman to sing the Humma Humma in Zulu(Afrian)
Style ... wow.. i wish the song must have come in that kinda version
it was realy superb.. and realy gave the effect of being in some
tropical forest ... and later he sung the song in Carnatic Style..
hehe people started to shout .. noooo and we want the original one..
and Sankar asked people to Dance if they want the original version
t.. and everyone .. from 6 to 60 almost everyone started to dance ..
Rahman sung the tamil version while Sankar was in Hindi Version.
Vennilavey from Minsara Kanavu (Sapney) rendered by Sadana Sargam
and Hariharan, it was in both Tamil and Hindi too , Hariharan
started the song in Hindi and Sadana was singing in Tamil.
Mayil Iragey from Aa Aah rendered by Naresh & Madhusree, wow i never
expect Naresh to be too young, it was realy nice to have him on this
beautiful evening.. even after the show everyone praised him on his
beautiful performence ..
Rahman Introduced Naresh and saying he have worked many songs with
this young fellow.
Blaze - was rocking.. he made some special lyrics for Hong Kong
peoples and sung them in between..
Kail Lesh Khar - Though his voice is very folk.. but his contume
also ? hehe yes he dressed in very typical folk style .. and many
peoples were shouting.. Hey Kudumu.. hey Lungi etc..etc.. and Kail
Lesh Khar was enjoying the whole show and gave good response to the
audience.
Secret Of Success from Boys - Rahman, Naresh, Blaze and Chorus ..
wow it was realy nice and had lots of extra inputs in this song
which was simply great and only this legend can improve the music
within a minute..
Sivamani entertained the whole audience with his magical
rhythems.... he started with chant and ended with Folk beats... in
between he had played almost all varieties.. he is simply the best
precussionist.

The best part is both the male and female Chorus have danced for few
songs such as Secret of Success etc.. and for all the songs the team
have kept moving with some decent movement which simply attracted
the audience.
The show had 20mins interwal to honor the legend and his team for
coming to hong kong ...and a co-sponser have gifted a Diamond Watch
to A R Rahman and Rahman.

* Gap between each songs is less than a Minute
* Rahman have rendered almost half of the songs
* All songs almost very close to the CD Quality.
Thats all i can remember as of now about the concert, if i can
recall more insha allah i will write them later.
I am sorry if my english is not that good coz english is not my
First or Second language .. its only my Third Language..
