Yes, that is correct. To my knowledge, the following ARR songs are heavily
Jazz influenced.

1. Hello Mr. Ethirkatchi (sp?) and Vennila Vennila (from Iruvar)
2. Vaan Nila (from Kaadhal Virus)
3. Smiyai (from Kandukondein kandukondein)

I don't think ARR has done anything with other African-American musical
styles such as Blues and Soul. Simyai does have a little bit of Soul
influence through it's unusual vocal hormonizations.

There is an incredible group from the 1970s called Steely Dan who have
successfully fused all African-American musical styles with Rock and also
give it a very popular appeal. You should check it out if you are interested
in Blues and Jazz. Of course that is fusion; if your interests are pure
Blues or pure Jazz, then the likes of Winston Marsallis, Dave Brubeck, B.B.
King, and the likes should be a good start.

Regards,
Dasun
