Hi all, The subject of the message might sound little harsh but it is done intentionally to gain maximum attention... Well for the last few months i am noticing certain things in this forum which are quite disturbing...Let me explain this.. Whenever a new album of ARR releases there r certain posts on this group which describe it as "disappointing" or "not upto ARR standards"..Let's take an example:When RDB released certain "so called intellectuals" called it tht the album is not upto ARR standards.."Waiting for GF and Sivaji to release..Now GF releases and again most probably those same set of ppl say,"I am quite disappointed with this album".they also go to the extent of saying tht RDB was a timeless classic or masterpiece..ARR could not do justice with GF as he had done with RDB.. Well the whole point is as soon as GF released then RDB went on to become a classic with GF being disappointing..mind u it is the same ppl who called RDB not a gr8 effort by ARR..So it means tht to make an ARR album hit you hv to wait for his next album to call the earlier one as a masterpiece...I really fail to understand these double standards.. I mean there should be some consistency in what one speaks otherwise these are all signs of lunacy..Ppl hv already begun to say we r waiting for Sivaji as GF was not tht good..am sure the same set of ppl will criticise Sivaji as soon as it releases and hail GF as an awesome album where ARR shows creativity,mass songs vagera vagera.. I think there shd be a proper tracking system to see who these ppl are who are creating such sort of nuisance in this wonderful forum... Common guys we need to stop this and can't go on ignoring these mails by saying tht everybody is free to express their opinion..Plz do so but why u need to change ur opinion according to ur whims and fancies? I feel this is a grave concern for this group and shd be taken up immediately by the moderator to address this issue. BTW i am enjoying GF like anythng..am not a Tamil but really man the songs rock big time..the master has again left his stamp and class all over the album.. Hope to get some feedback frm the grp to hv a meaningful discussion.. Regards, Anujit
