A.R.Rahman has been making his presence felt since the last few months
with the music of The Rising and Rang De Basanti being greatly
appreciated. However, surprisingly, the musician has still not been
fully paid for his work in The Rising. It seems that only 15% of the
amount due has been paid to Rahman. He received 10 lakhs which was to
be paid to the Prague Orchestra. Considering that it was a big film,
Rahman left no stone unturned to ensure that the quality of music is good.
After the release of the film, producer Bobby Bedi had said in a
television interview that he had recovered the entire money invested
in the film. Rahman is extremely selective about the work that he
does. And he does not want to get cheated on the few projects that he
does. Producer Bobby Bedi was not aware that there was any amount due.
He stated that a lot of money had already been paid.

the music of GODfATHER ROCKS.all the music that is given by our Boss
is excellent.it is all different and new trends.but i think the music
should promote well by showing the music and video clips over and over
in every channels.as we all know that,it takes time for our Boss music
to grow on us,it must promote well.
i am very sad that the LUKA CHUPPI , a great
song by our AR RAHMAN sir is not promoted well in any of the
channels.But the songs from HIMESH RESS... is showing in every
channels repeatedly,even if the songs are not very good.as the songs
are shown repeatedly with masalas,mixes and blacks,it is being
accepted by the masses.
so i suggest that all the RDB and GodFather songs
must promote well.
