I agree with what Roshan said. Songs picturization
is good; especially “Aayo Re”. Amazing one.
Thanks to Giles Nuttgens for the wonderful
cinematography.
I also liked “Vaishnava Jana to”.
It perfectly syncs with the movie (Nice way to end the movie).
‘Water’ must be allowed to be
screened in India.
I did not find anything wrong with the picturization or the subject. It’s
sad that it’s been politicized by a few anti-social elements.
I seriously don't think the songs were all
spoiled.
firstly we have to bear in mind that the movie was
an
offbeat one. and the songs were used very
differently
than the mainstream movies. i loved piya ho
and aayo
re sakhi picturisation. the rain,
clouds and this
beautiful song created a mesmerising ambience
altogether.
But i agree that bangri marori was wasted.
it could
have been used somewhere else.
the picturisation of shyam rang also got spoiled
because of lack energy (the whole song is in slow
motion!!)
the songs might not have been fully used but it is
much better than showing belly dance.
