i remember the response for nee manasu naaku telusu(E 20 U ..) & boys.from my college mates.most of them loved it & danced to those numbers.so if rahman works for such films more he will reach masses once again.we should not forget that rahman shot fame with such films those days.A swades ,MP,Bose doesnt reach masses as that of commercial films.but i cant understand one thing.he deos that only with hindi films. He chooses such commmercial films in telugu & tamil but in hindi he bounds to script for choosing a film. Also hes costly & takes some time(sometimes).even that is also making some of the new commercial directors not to apprach for him.otherwise who doesnt want rahman to b MD for their film.
this is just my opnion of why rahmans music is not at its deserved position & why other MDs getting better sales.

I agree TOTALLY with Krish & Ace Cool too !
but i am sure that the Best Seller of ARR will be a bigger Number
than the Best seller of anyother MD..isnt that rite ?
for e.g I am sure Ayutha Eluthu created Records of sort in Chennai..
but anyway numbers dont make everything...
btw, i buy each & every audio cassette of ARR...just for the sake of
buying an original..
in 1 week time, i manage to get high quality MP3.
