based on rajiv menon's interview in a tamil weekly and arr's own
assertions in SJK interview the movi-guru spans 4 decades from 50's to
80's..now this is a real treat rather i wud say a blessing from god..
rahman doing it in hindi what he did for mani's iruvar in
tamil..capture the essence of period music(film music of the 60's and
70's in the cae of iruvar ) with a contemperory feel..iruvar was a
magnificient effort with rahman's genius at its very best..
i hope wish and pray that guru shud surpass iruvar in grandeur and
majesty..
jus imagine what would arr would come up with when he attempts to bring
to us the soundscapes of the 50's, 60's, 70's and 80's in his own
inimitable way..
may god bless arr as always to come up with his very best for all
future ventures..
