SORRY TO SAY. I understand we are ARR fans but should not be greedy when considering, CNN-IBN's poll as is not fair in the poll choices of names itself when there are many names ? as i remember poll is for "who is tamilnadu's biggest icon??" we cannot expect ARR to win in that. If there is a question say who is india's big music director who took india internationally? then its the right question for cnn-ibn & for us to expect ARR win. but CNN-IBN's poll choice is not fair as i cud definitely say there are many famous persons in each field from arts to science, literature to politics, agri. to educ. & so A to Z, in tamilnadu who took tamilnadu internationally & they are all big icons. so its not fair to mention only arr in such group when there are so many biggies who achieved well before arr came to lead in music. so its not fair to expect arr win in cnn's poll. shah

but this poll is nothing..its just a poll conducted in some mp3 downloads size. We missed a gold chance to vote for arr in that cnn-ibn poll..it had recoginition.. every one hour they used to show on tv about this poll and wud show the personalities,it was well publicised. i still feel regret that we didnt make our rahman win in that poll..which had more recognition..
