Its sad. Piracy is the same as stealing. Guru's
soundtrack is on every possible site already for download. 10's of thousands of
people are using these blatantly illegal services and yet many more poeple are
buying the Cd's and sharing them online.
Knowing ARR, I know that this really makes him feel bad deep inside because so
much work goes behind the music he creates and then artists dont get what they
deserve. Is it that difficult to pay £5 or some Rs. 150 for a good cd? Sad man.
I live in the UK, while the soundtrack is out online............shamelessly
being downloaded all over, I much rather wait for the real cd, no matter how
hard to get because that way I know I am not stealing from someone I love and
contributing to his efforts. For those who think
differently...............atleast in this group...........please ask yourself
if this is fair? An average album gets a minimum of 45,000 downloads on one
single site........I hope that none of that 45,000 is from ARRAHMANFANS, cause
that would be a right ol shame.
I do something whenever an arr album is available on the net, I make up false
aliases and bombard these sites, especially on pages with ARR's
music..........where I leave messages like........shame on you......get the cd,
stop stealing and encourage your idols........................I hope all of
you.........(10,000 is not a silly number) try and pitch in with you efforts,
even though it seems that it doesnt help, let me tell you one
thing..............it does!
Please guys. Just keep AR's efforts in perspective when doing such acts.
