Hi guys
I got my copy of Guru yesterday evening here in delhi.
After hearing to the promo songs and all the mails i became restless, i
thought of giving it a shot though i knew that it is going to be
available from 18.
I went to Saket which is nearby to my house. First i entered the Plant M
and asked the guy do u have Guru.... the look he gave me made me feel
like i have uttered some alien word...then he said it will be available
on sunday...I left the shop with a broken heart ...
this time I entered the other shop "music stop" this time i didnt ask
anyone as i thought it wuldnt be there so i was scanning the cds.
Suddenly one guy asked for "GURU" cassette to the shop keeper then i
also went and asked for Guru cd the expression of the shop keeper u
should have seen guys it was similar, like when u ask for "black
tickets" to the guy who is selling he wuld motion u to stand
aside.....similarly the guy said in a very low tone ya it is
there......i cant believe my ears so once again asked the guy...within
this one of the guy played guru in the music system and the whole shop
was engulfed in the music of our Boss the first song Barso re
....started and many of them started asking which is this movie ....i
proudly said it is Guru by AR rahman...within that the guy who asked
for cassette also joined me and started to say the songs r awesome
.....the shop keeper got the parcel from inside and opened it I was the
first one to get the CD i cant believe this man.......
Later he said that officially they have to release tomorrow (saturday)
but since ur asking we will give it to u but without bill I said ok
anyhow i bought the CD
last night i played for 4 times in my home theater ...guys u should
hear it in home theater ...will post the review after few more hearings...
The CD got 7 songs and I like 6 at the first go man.....
