really i cant stand it too. that song has high percussions. has a fast
beat... the song is INTENTIONALLY made with some old-age beats to make it
fit in the 90's era.. i love that song... come on people! ARR can make
anything sound like anything according to the situation said by the
director.

an APT example is the male's voice in the trailer. it was suited the rural
mood perfectly. but when u hear it in later part mayya mayya song, the bit
blends perfectly with morern era mayya mayya.. that's the power of ARR's
music..

film music from this album ....

guys there must be some reason for the song baazi laga ...the reason
why it sounds'so plain jane ' ....i am sure it will be justified by
mani ratnam and rahman . Please !! guys sit back and enjoy the music
at least 4 or 5 times adn then type in ur comments and reviews .... it
takes time to create works like guru ....please avoid comments
like 'baazi laga , ek lo muft shud be avoided ' and the like !
when a genius like rahman composes those tracks ...i am sure he's
consciously aware of what he is doing !
