I wrote that review. I'm a huge Rahman fan and love most of his songs. I had very high expectations from Guru considering how long it's been since his last Hindi release and I'm a little disappointed. By Hindi movie standards the album is still amazing but by Rahman's and Mani Ratnam's standards, it's a little disappointing. I know I've been very harsh, but that's because of the high standards that we've come to expect from Rahman. I love Tere Bina and Barso Re by the way. I especially love Barso Re's beats.
