Guru audio rocks! by galatta
November 24, 2006 A.R. Rahman creates magic yet again.
Mani Ratnam has evoked some of the maestro Rahmans best musical works in his
films and Guru, starring Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, R. Madhavan and
Vidya Balan, is no exception. The audio of Guru, owned and released by
Sony-BMG, has been out in stores since November 18, and the music is simply
superb.
Like all of ARRs works, this one too takes more than one listen to grow on
you, but when you do, you just cant stop listening!
Keeping with the flow of the film, which is said to be the dramatisation of
Reliances late boss Dhirubhai Ambanis biography, Guru alternates between
flowing melodies and period foot-tapping and mischievous beats.
