Guys,
I wouldn't like to review the song Baazi Laga in intricacy.
But for those whom Baazi Laga pricks them like anything that they
come out saying the album itself is not up to the standards, I'd like
to ask a few questions.
You can be unsatisfied with Baazi Laga only due to ANY of the
following reasons. Touch your conscience and say which one is that:
1. You didnt expect such a song from ARR-Mani combo
2. You didnt expect such a song from ARR considering his standards
or
3. The song was really very very bad.
I think 80% of you won't say the last one. Just think...
Earlier Rahman used to give only 5 or 6 full songs for a movie. And
now when he has given you a seventh song, you jump up and down saying
that the album is not upto the mark just due to this song, what
happened to Rahman etc.. Just cool yourself guys..
Just compare Rahman's albums with the other MD's albums, and pick out
how many songs were good or hit in a single album. Maybe not more
than three (to the maximum). And only in ARR's case you expect all of
them to be a hit. Expecting that is not bad, but only if three songs
touch your soul, you say the album is bad or mediocre. That is what i
think is bad.
Think yourself guys.. grow and mature.... think practical... dont be
in a dream world ... by just comapring all his albums to some of his
previous albums...
