It's going to be a rocking goodbye to 2006 and an even more rocking
welcome to 2007, when actor Priyanka Chopra shares the stage with
Canadian singer-instrumentalist Nelly Furtado at Andheri sports
complex on December 31.

Priyanka says, "I've never worked on New Year's Eve. The fact that
I'll be getting the party started and interacting with a huge crowd
got me excited. I've also been a Nelly Furtado fan. Sharing the stage
with her would be fun!"

She continues, "We'll be getting in a Bollywood feel with popular
numbers from films like `Bluffmaster' and `Mujhse Shaadi Karoge'. It
will be a two-piece act." While Priyanka's wardrobe will be designed
by Shane and Falguni Peacock, Terrence Lewis will be doing the
choreography. Incidentally, maestro A R Rahman will perform a
30-minute act.

On her whopping success Priyanka says, "I owe it to destiny. Work is
worship for me." She adds, "Every day is a new lesson. But I listen to
my instincts. I'm not swayed by others although I do take their opinions."

Priyanka cherishes a compliment paid to her by a six-year-old girl
abroad who told her, "Aunty, I performed your number `Lal dupatta'
(`Mujhse Shaadi…') at school and won a prize. Now I'll be performing
`Aaj ki raat' (`Don'). How can I grow up to be
like you?"

Someone who underlines that her sex appeal lies in her voice defines
love as `the noblest form of insanity'. About her dream mate Priyanka
elucidates, "Someone tall, with a great smile, who accepts me the way
I am."
