thanks Kumar for the advice, I might have heard this song a little more than
8-10 times.
Ofcourse the word "string arrangements" didnt catch my eyes :-) I kind of
have an acquired taste for Rahmans music. My CD-Rack is filled with him albums,
excpet a handful which am hunting for ( i have missed some really important
ones which am embarassed to mention here :0)
Ofcourse I did vote for Roobaro not 100 times though ( that was a nice try to
rag the newcomer :-)) well, i voted around 8 times :-) but I seriously think,
the song will come out as a TRUE WINNER! without we casting 100 votes each. The
song has the power in itself.
cheers

Hi folks , I am new to this group, as old as just a day. I have been a
hardcore fan of Rahman's redentions. Hoping this group will enhance my
knowledge about His Music and His contributions to the world of music.
To start with, i came across this link through another Rahman man. Its quite
old, and am sure many of you may already know about this Tsunami song he
composed.

Just wanted to share this with the group. Honestly ( no offence meant ) the
song didnt impress me, knowing the intensity of music Rahman has in him. I felt
the Lyrics (sepecially the english part) is too casual,,, and the video could
have been made better by including more shots of the actual pain experienced by
tsunami victims.
Nevertheless, its a great thought, and full credits to Rahman for constantly
thinking on these grounds.
cheers
