Thats nice, but I feel Kannada Film industry cant really bear the cost of AR
RAHMAN. The movies out here in Kannada lack that strong messages, and the plot,
look-n-feel for the kind of music our Maestro composes.
I do love to see 1 movie in Kannada, with the class-music of Rahman, but ..I
wouldnt just aim at his music, the whole movie as such should bring in that
maturity! Gone are those days when movies like .."Minchina vota", "accident",
"muthina-haara", ...and not to forget the great Puttana Kangal movies! Which
had some truly awesome songs, and some serious themes!
Now all that happens out in Kannada industry is wrapping up a film in less
than a month. Now would you really want our Maestro to compose for such
projects ? I will definitely vote for him composing if there is a 2nd movie
like Muttina-hara being made!
