Hi, I guess we can also put in few words about The A R Rahman Foundation (to support the underprivileged) and his own audio label (K M Musiq), which is primarily to support both classical and contemporary styles of music (e.g. One of the First Cuts from his label is a Ghulam Ali Album) and his effort as the UN Ambassador for the "Stop TB Millenium Campaign". It may also be noteworthy to mention that he has been the co-composer of "The Golden Age"..a Shekar Kapur sequel of Elizabeth, a film that was nominated for 8 Oscars in 98. (including the one for "Best Music, Original Dramatic Score")
