Chennai box-office - (Jan 19-21 )
"Pokkiri" rocks at the Chennai box-office! It has created
a record 28 shows (Jan 14-20) continuously houseful at Devi (1170 seats) where
tickets are priced (Rs 30 & Rs 40) less than some theatres in NSC area! Guru
continues its stranglehold and is the second position. There is a marginal
improvement in the collection of Thamarabharani which has moved up to the third
place. Thiruvilayadal Arambhamis steady at fourth place while Aalwar has
slipped to fifth position.
