Filmfare awards nominations just proves how bogus these awards are. I really wonder what they are based on! Are there any real movie/music critics who take entries into consideration, or is it just spin the bottle and pick the entries?
Looking at Best Male Singer, no Daler Mehendi, no Naresh Iyer and in fact no Sonu Nigam (for Jaaneman, where he's done an awesome job). Best Lyrics -- 2 nominations for Javed Aktar for KANK, while one for Parsoon Joshi for RDB??? Come on...look at Khalbali or the mind blowing Lukha Chuppi. Even the great Gulzar was amazed at the appropriateness and uniqueness of the lyrics! Oh well...maybe Aamir got it right. Its not use watching these awards.
