Dear Krishnaraj & Shahi
Instead of having a one-sided judgement, why cannot it be in other way.
mr.Jesudas could have even refused couple of offers from mr. A.R.Rahman due to
mr.JDS's personal priorities & also of the fact he might want to see his son
mr.vijay in singing assuming mr.vijay is more interested & he is in a situation
to give way for his son. Till he is there in the field he cannot give
opportunities to his son.
If you take Mr.SPB it might be different case. If his son is not interested
in singing, mr.spb cannot compel him. So mr.spb need not bother & accept offers
whatever come his way. So there are super seniors (very aged wise) & seniors
(middle aged wise). No such problems for seniors - Mr.Hariharan Iyer & Madam
Chitra Chechi.
How long you want these super seniors to sing with a fact they cannot give it
in full what they were giving before and also upon regard for them, Music
Directors cannot instruct them as before with demands like time issues. Also
commanding super seniors to MDs expectation will not be the same ever after
certain period of time. It is like in India there are lot of senior citizens
who could get a job easily even after retirement to their level of
understanding & executing it easily but still hesitate to take it up for they
cannot accept their new seniors easily who will instruct them & give work to
them with a command.
Its better to maintain some understanding in distance instead of getting
bitter experiences between them & for both of them (Both - MDs & Super Senior
singers). Mr.Jesudas now would be more interested & happy to see his son
singing. He has passed the stage to accept offers. So many perspectives are
there when you think about an issue. First of all its the singers' decision.
Some senior singers would like to quit & some would like to be in touch with
few offers. Hope in each & every thing there are TWO SIDES & no need to come to
conclusions.
Regards Shwetha

hey krishna
i dont think that ther is any so called ATTITUDE problem towards
dasettan ..... I think u shud b making more research before u put something
like this.....its the music directors /directors/producers choice who has to
sing the song...c u shud understand that even for the tere bina song of guru
rahman wanted the track rendered by someone else but mani strongly insited that
he shud sing....just see the decline in usage of spb in his recent albums...wat
i hav felt is that rahman has been doing justice in choosing who shud sing a
particular song....except some..but rare...now as u dont know 4 sure wat is
happening in the background....i think u shud wait and pray for getting him
chances......its true that we mallus r gr8 fans of him but just c number
of songs he is singing now ..... new singers come and make their
presence....vineeth sreenivasan, afsal are all examples of this ...MD's call
dasettan for typical songs which requires his voice and not
all...this used to happen way bak..so things change..and to conclude rahman
has got choices and has freedom to choose who has to sing ..as malayalees we
will pray 4 their combination....and not to declare that rahman is avoiding the
gr8 singer

We ve no argument against the fact that u r the no 1 and pride of
india. But can we know the reason that u foundout to avoid deleberately
our DASETTAN. To all the other legends, Lathaji, Ashaji,
Chithrachechi, SPB sir, Hariharan sir etc ugave good oppertunities.
Even for Unnimenon sir u gave above 50 songs. For DASETTAN only below
10.In them only 2 good songs (pachaikilikal and ennatha ponnatha). What
profit u ve got through this avoidance?
Does he deserve only this?
Plse listen to the hindi songs sung by him.U shall change ur attitude.
All Malayalis are conscious about ur attitude against our GOD $
GANAGANDHARVAN. We r waiting with grievance and filled eyes for a
Rehman-Yesudas hit.(U can easily overcome minute strain in his voice
using technology)
Please dont throw away the request of Keralam.
We stoop before u.
