hi did already express my disappointment abt this some 3 weeks back, but people were making noises!
read this hi, this is my personal opinion abt guru. I watched it last sunday paying (wasting) 15$. I did not like the movie @ all. The things i hated in the movie are: 1.unnecessary episode of vidya balan/maddy, am sure mani wanted a movie to run for 2.45 hrs, with the original script it was only for 2 hrs, then he thougth to include this. 2. aish is not convincing in her role, look so thin and acting is jaded. 3. songs r unnecessary and placed badly in the movies. mayya (2 stanza was cut r probably pushed to background) is not necessary, immediately followd by barso re (again 2nd stanza pushed to background - except for few lines). ay hairathe does come in bits and pieces, tera bina is not fully picturised and fails to create a impact on screen as it was on trailers and audio's. yammo yammo was okey and baazi laga - highly unnecessary. 4. rajiv menons work was alrite and nothing that gr8. 5. rahman's bgm was okey, he used a lot of songs pieces in the bgm as they were not used by mani properly. 6. so many scenes in rain, barso re, whenver abhishek addresses his staff, prathap pothan episode. why does mani waste so much water when there is so much scarcity in chennai. the point is rain is not reqd. agreed in 1st song of mouna ragam but why repetedly here? 7. moves @ a liesurely pace and doesn't pick up anytime 8. abhishek does all his acts and justifies in 4.5 min saying .5 min is profit, naah it did not work. where did gandhi come in? who asked abt his past to the panel that 2 shirts/15000 rupees stuff? they were asking reasons and justifications for his act? 9.where did mithun disappear in the end? only gud thing was abhishek acting. rahman's songs fails to create an impact on screen, it was very gud in audio and i was jumping.! better luck next time mani ! probably lajjo is more in terms of period again who knows? waste of time and money! --- In [email protected], "Ajit" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > I just saw Guru.
