Though it was rumored that Sivaji's sound track had snuck its way
to the Internet, Sivaji's music still remains the most-expected audio release
of the year. Scored by Rahman, fans are already making a beeline at the music
stores enquiring about advance booking for the audio to avoid disappointment.
Looks like the highlight of Sivaji's music would be the duet sung by A.R.
Rahman. Though uncertainties about Rahman's voice synchronizing with Rajini's
physique can't be ruled out, the song is sure to become a chartbuster given
Rahman's credentials in singing duets.
Earlier, Rahman's duet for Guru (Tere Bina) was a smash hit despite the movie's
performance. Talking to the press recently on being refined in selecting Tamil
movies, Rahman uttered that there is an increase in fast numbers in Tamil
cinema lately. "I am hesitant to just do those kind of movies", he replied.
Now that there are two chips off the old block, G.V. Prakash and Rehna from the
Rahman clan, does the maestro provide them with expert advices? "They never
seek advices from me. Probably they think I am busy and will not have the time
to spare with them. But in my opinion they are brilliant musicians and do their
best", Rahman vouched for them.
Reminiscing his father's memories, Rahman stated that his he is trying to
fulfill his father's ambitions. "I am sure my father is looking at me from
above with full of pride for whatever I have achieved that was not possible
during his lifetime", the maestro stated with tears welling in his eyes.
