I know that there is no way we can a song, leave alone an album,with
a 30 second clip, but the track, although catchy, seems to be too hip
and westernized for a rajini album. I fervently hope arr has kept his
audience in mind while scoring this album. I am pretty sure shankar
knows what the masses expect but I still this tiny amount of doubt
because Sivaji cannot have the same style as boys, which was
exclusively a youth album. arr badly needs a mass superhit in tamil
and he cannot get a better launch pad than sivaji. Anyways, we'll
know in a week.
On an entirely another note, i was thinking about how
the current arr compares to a half used oil well. The days when any
one could use the well and strike oil are long gone. Now it all
depends on the skill of the person using the well. He needs to know
how to extract oil and if he does, he's gonna strike gold.
