ARR is my role model... Understand that... dont simply barge in and say some stupid things... ARR CANT BE COMPARED WITH ANYOTHER MD's... i replied to this thread... just because Mirza blamed the whole community... and of course the clarity of lyrics(diction and pronounciation) is quite important for the sucess of a song i m not changing my position in that... Today's trend is such that even ARR's predecessor IR's music is also having this problem... This is mainly because of NON THAMIZH singers... I dont say that NON THAMIZH singers shouldnt sing... but when they sing they need to concentrate on the pronounciation and diction... this is something happening in hindi... even the egyptian lady(Maryem Toller) if i m correct... has sung beautifully in MAYYA MAYYA... the song is more appealing because we could understand the lyrics clearly and that is what is needed in thamizh... of course occasionally when we get some stylish(as you claim) songs we can always enjoy it... something like kulluvalliley(Muthu) or Kadalikkum Pennin(Kadalan)... and stylish way of singing thamizh is not a problem... Take dating song from BOYS it was sung very stylishly but still we could understand the lyrics clearly... but on the other hand MAyil iragey from Aa.. Aah... not stylish singing... but absolutely there is not clarity of lyrics... such an amazing melody from arr should have been a massive hit.. even with the same singers if bit more attention was given to clarity of lyrics... so understand the difference between stylish way of singing and singing with clarity... and this is the general opinion i found when i was just doing my informal survey... most of them quoted this(17 out 23) mayil irage song... even this 40 sec song... it amazing no doubt about it... i m sure its going to be a hit... may be this song i can accept it need to stylish... cos the tune is so... so mr.kanchias i told earlier understand the meaning and then talk... even MJ's music you have songs like liberian girl, heal the world where i can follow the lyrics quite clearly... I wonder i ve quoted most of the things in my previous mail itself(jus now read it) and still you are sending such a reply...???
