man, ARR needs both Shankar & Mani.... Mani for his soulstiring numbers & Shankar for the MASS ARR that popularized ARR back in those days ....
come on.... nowdays who is gonna sit down & enjoy soulful music like those days... they need music to move thier waist... haha.... besides.... im happy with the Sivaji songs that ive heard so far.... IMHO, i felt Guru actually brought the ARR status down among the masses... in tamil ofcource... they actually wrote him off after the Guru [tamil] released... [ some source i got from audio shops tho]...
