I totally agree, Madhushree should not sing in Tamil. Her singing
ruined Mayilirage and Sandai Kozhi (Tamil version of Kabhi Neem Neem)
for me.

something disturbing. i thought she managed to sing 'vaalhai' in anbae
vaaLHai yaedu properly but lost to azagai saaNAIyidu in beginning
lines. definitely she wld ve erred in singing vaaLHai properly in
couple of takes & finally corrected it. if she had sung vaalai yedu
with soft 'LA' instead of hard 'LHA' it will suit her other mistake of
'saaNIyidu' completely & the song will sound a comedy ttrack to suit
character paalkaaran in annamalai for the lines will total relate to
maadu (cattle). likewise in the end she sing 'Vennilavai Jagathiyum
aakki" it is not jagathi but 'sagathi' - saeru (impure wet mud).

replaced... When it was Kabi Neem(YUVA) she was awesome.. no doubt....
but this song... hmmmmm.... no comments... she is not good thats it...
and a sigh relief it is rahman himself singing Sahara... not UDit...
Thanks a million for that decision... 2 reasons...

Madhusri wth some oter female singer for the Vaaji song. her
pronunciation and expression sounds very awkward. (No offence meant to
her talent.. she is v talented, agreed)

`Sivaji' is no longer a closely guarded secret with three of the seven
A.R. Rahman songs available on the Internet. AVM Productions (the
film's production company) manager K. Viswanathan said there were
reportedly about 500 websites from where the songs could be
downloaded. Action awaited

may hit stores two days earlier than the original launch date of April
4. But thanks to the talented Mr. ARR, AVM has actually recorded an
increase in orders from dealers after the illegal release on the net,
according to Mr. Viswanathan. He said the response was overwhelming
and that the current order figures stood at two lakh CDs and two lakh
cassettes. The songs that can be downloaded online are `Vaaji
Vaaji', `Orukudai Sunlight' and `Sahaan Saaral'.
