This song is simply amazing!!! For those who just wished
a Tamilian in place of Udit had sung...Rahman has that in the
sad version...which I infact like more...esp the Classical
lilt in the Female part...that one is absolutely absolutely divine...
close ur eyes and listen...you cant describe the feeling..
guess the Ragam is Sudha Dhanyasi or Sudha Saaveri !!!
Balailakka takes the second position...Rahman does a fabulous folkish
number here..Rahman kind of gives a new feel and sound to folk and
still its very much folkish and rustic, the feeling i didnt get with
some of his earlier songs like Kummi Adi...he has got the right
sound and feel i was looking for!!!
Vaaji and Athiradee both 3rd position...
personally those techno songs didnt appeal that much though
the 'Sunlight' song will be really cool on screen!!
If the 90's Rahman seemed more like Rhythm and dance Rahman..
these days his melodies are just too beautiful and mesmerising..
not for faint hearts like me!!!
